Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters is a twelve-episode anime mini-series, serving as a spin-off to the second Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series. Yu-Gi-Oh! 5DS is an anime series and the third installment in the franchise of Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series. It aired in Japan between April 2, 2008 and March 30, 2011, following the conclusion of the previous series, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. In America, most episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's were dubbed by 4Kids Entertainment. Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's was succeeded by Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal. Much like the previous series, it focuses around characters playing a card game Duel Monsters, despite the fact the 'Duel Monsters' tagline has been dropped from the Japanese title. This series introduces new types of cards such as Synchro Monsters, that are reflected in the Official Trading Card Game. During the series, in addition to regular duels using Duel Disks, a new type of Duel Disk, motorcycle-like vehicles, called "D-Wheels" are used, and the duelists engage in games called "Riding Duels". The show is set in the distant future, where the upper class population live in New Domino City and the lower class in a remote island where Domino's sewage is transported, Satellite. Yusei Fudo, the 18 year-old main protagonist, lives in Satellite and makes it his objective to reach his rival Jack Atlas, who lives in Domino. The series focuses on the five Signers, people embodied with a mark of one of the legendary Five Dragons, of which Yusei and Jack are two, and their conflict with the main antagonists Dark Signers and the Three Emperors of Yilaster.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters is a television anime series produced by Nihon Ad Systems and Studio Gallop, based on chapters 60-343 of the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga written by Kazuki Takahashi. It is the second anime adaptation of the manga following the anime produced by Toei Animation, adapting the manga from where that series finished. The series revolves around a card duelist named Yugi Mutou, who faces various opponents in a game known as Duel Monsters. The series originally aired in Japan on TV Tokyo between April 2000 and September 2004, running for 224 episodes. An English-language adaptation by 4Kids Entertainment aired in North America between September 2001 and June 2006 on Kids' WB under the name Yu-Gi-Oh!, also releasing the series in various countries outside of Japan. Based on the success of the series, 4Kids also commissioned an animated film, Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light, and a mini-series, Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters. Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal is a Japanese manga and anime series and the third main spin-off series of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. The manga began serialization in Shueisha's V-Jump magazine from December 2010 and is licensed in North America by Viz Media. The anime series, produced by Nihon Ad Systems and Studio Gallop, aired on TV Tokyo between April 2011 and September 2012, following the previous anime series, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, with an English-language version airing in North America between October 2011 and August 2013. A second series, Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal II, began airing in Japan on October 7, 2012 and in North America from August 18, 2013. The series aired on The CW's Saturday morning cartoon block, Toonzai, and continues to air on its successor, Vortexx, later airing on Nicktoons from April 2013. It now airs every Sunday at 11:30,on Nicktoons.
Yu-Gi-Oh! is a 1998 Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation and Bandai based on chapters 1-59 of the manga of the same name written by Kazuki Takahashi. The series aired on TV Asahi between April 4, 1998, and October 10, 1998. An animated film based on the series was released in Japanese theatres on March 6, 1999. The opening theme is "A Cry of Thirst" by Field of View whilst the ending theme is "Even If You Break Tomorrow" by Wands. The series was followed by a different adaptation produced by Nihon Ad Systems and Konami, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, which began airing in 2000. Fans outside of Japan have dubbed this series as "Yu-Gi-Oh! Season Zero."
